People who sign up to receive emails via the website
If you sign up to receive emails on our website we will securely retain your contact details and preferences until you request us to delete your details by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or following the ‘unsubscribe’ link on a newsletter email.
Retention of personal information
In some cases, there are legal requirements to keep personal data for a minimum period, for example if it must be retained by court order or where Haven Houseplants is under a contractual obligation to retain it. If there is no such legal requirement, Haven Houseplants will only keep the personal data for so long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as expressly consented. Even if we delete your personal data, it may persist on backup media for an additional period of time for legal, tax or regulatory reasons, or for legitimate and lawful business purposes.
